About Fastdroid
Fastdroid started with a simple question: why does Android development still depend on emulators that take minutes to boot and gigabytes of RAM just to test a small change?
We built Fastdroid to remove that friction.
Fastdroid is a lightweight Android emulator built for the AI era. Whether you're building apps yourself or working with AI coding agents like Claude, Codex, or OpenCode, Fastdroid focuses on getting an Android device running as quickly as possible so you can spend more time building and less time waiting.
Our goal isn't to replace the entire Android Studio ecosystem. It's to make the development loop faster. Start an emulator in seconds, connect your app, capture screenshots, automate testing through our MCP server, and keep your workflow moving without unnecessary overhead.
We're also building Fastdroid in public. That means you'll see new features, experimental ideas, and occasional rough edges as we continue improving the platform. Community feedback plays a huge role in shaping what comes next.
At the end of the day, Fastdroid exists for one reason:
Building Android apps should feel fast again.
